December 24th, 2025

An evening that everyone likes to spend with their loved ones. Experience delightful hours in Merano, where many family-run restaurants are closed this evening. To accommodate our guests, we are opening the City Restaurant on this special evening. Enjoy an authentic South Tyrolean Christmas dinner in a cosy and contemplative setting.

Join us for this exceptional celebration and savor a traditional festive menu.

South Tyrolean Christmas Eve dinner menu on December 24th, 2025:

Amuse-bouche
Beef consommé with mini speck dumplings
Braised veal cheek in Lagrein wine with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts
Buckwheat apple cake with chestnut ice cream

Vegetarian menu:

Amuse-bouche
Pumpkin cream soup with a fresh cheese and herb praline
Hearty winter vegetable quiche with chive sauce
Buckwheat apple cake with chestnut ice cream

For dinner, we serve water, white and red wine.

Join us in the City on New Year’s Eve for an evening filled with culinary delights. Begin your final evening of the year with an elegant 5-course dinner. Delight in our festive menu expertly paired with selected wines and savor imaginative creations crafted by our talented chef in the delightful ambiance of our restaurant.

Following dinner, there is still enough time for you to dive into the Merano New Year’s Eve celebrations in the center – wrapped up warm, of course – and enjoy. Witness the countdown to the New Year firsthand at the Promenade or the lively Thermenplatz. Make your New Year truly unforgettable in our stunning city.

The New Year’s Eve Dinner on December 31th, 2025:

Smoked alpine char carpaccio on fennel and orange salad, served with brioche
Red lentil cream soup with homemade cotechino grissino
Herb ravioli filled with prawns, served with brandy sauce
Beef medallion with baby spinach, pumpkin purée and morel mushroom sauce
